Terms & Conditions for Made to Measure, Altered and Ready Made clothing.
The following are the terms and conditions that apply to sales of made-to-measure and ready-made clothing, as well as adjustments to ready-made garments, made by Rajashree Bridal Studio Flagship Store at 448 Chapel Street, South Yarra, VIC 3141
Rajashree Bridal Studio is unable to accept any cancellations of made-to-measure orders as clothing are custom-made to the specifications of the customer and cannot be resold. Rajashree Bridal Studio will use reasonable efforts to accommodate any changes to an existing order requested by a Customer, but cannot promise that it will be possible, and reserves the right to charge the Customer an additional fee for any changes. Items purchased from Rajashree Bridal Studio are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Hand embroidered and finished garments are available in the store. Embellishments may crumble from the cloth due to the garment's complexity. This is not a defect in the product. Other fabrics, such as chiffon and georgette, are prone to rips and pulls due to their nature.
Consumer Guarantees do not apply on Made to Measure items and adjustments.
If the customer is unhappy with the quality of the delivered good(s), Rajashree Bridal Studio will follow a strict policy of Repair, Replace, and finally Refund, depending on the most appropriate remedy.
Orders for adjustments to ready-made items cannot be cancelled, and any changes to an alteration order may incur a fee. If Rajashree Bridal Studio agrees to accept a cancellation in its sole discretion, it reserves the right to charge the Customer a cancellation fee.
The description stated on the Rajashree Bridal Studio Order or Measurement Slip must be definitive in the event of any disagreement as to whether a finished made-to-measure item or adjustment to a ready-made item complies to the Customer's specifications. The Customer is solely responsible for the accuracy of any measurements given to Rajashree Bridal Studio.
The Customer agrees to come to at least two fittings for the made-to-measure or adjusted ready-made clothing. The first fitting will take place once the item is delivered, followed by the second fitting 21 days later. (Dispatch times are not included in the above schedule.) Following the second fitting, all further fits will be done within 10 working days.
Rajashree Bridal Studio cannot guarantee delivery of a finished made-to-measure garment to the Customer within a specific time frame, but will usually do so within 9 – 12 weeks after receiving the order.
Customers must pick up finished products within 30 days of receiving notification from Rajashree Bridal Studio that they are ready. Without Rajashree Bridal Studio permission, failure to collect within this time frame may result in the item being discarded. Delivery correspondence will be sent via email or the contact information provided on the form. Customers should double-check their information before submitting it.
The Customer does not own any clothing until it has been paid in full. When not in use, the clothing should be maintained in a separate cover and kept away from other garments, since direct contact with another embroidered outfit could cause harm. Water and scents should be kept away from the garment because they can cause discoloration. The item must only be dry cleaned by a reputable dry cleaner.
